“They broke up at the end of November,” a source said exclusively Us weekly on Tuesday, December 10th. “They tried to make it work again after the pregnancy, but they were both too hot-headed and went back to their constant arguments. They can’t agree and it’s not easy for them to be together.”

While the source added that “they’re done for now,” the couple “could very well be back together at a later date.” (TMZ reported earlier Tuesday that the couple broke up over the Thanksgiving holiday.)

In November, Fox, 38, announced she was expecting a rainbow baby. The actress revealed back in 2023 that she had suffered a miscarriage during her relationship with MGK, who has a 15-year-old daughter named Casie from a previous relationship.

Shortly after the pregnancy was announced, a source said Us that Fox and MGK, 34, “were both thrilled and excited to be parents together.”

“The pregnancy is bringing them closer together, but they’re still experiencing very dramatic ups and downs,” the insider explained. “Even when Megan and MGK split up, they always wanted to have a child together. It’s something they both wanted, even when they were apart.”

Fox and MGK – whose real name is Colson Baker – were first linked romantically in 2020 after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. The musician knelt in January 2022, but the two have not yet walked down the aisle.

Throughout their relationship, the couple raised eyebrows as they decided to live apart for a while. Fox would also be seen without her engagement ring.

More recently, fans have questioned the status of Fox and MGK’s relationship after the duo stopped sharing photos of each other online as frequently.

According to TMZ, the two decided to end things over Thanksgiving weekend while they were together in Vail, Colorado. Fox’s due date is expected to be March 2025.

However, fans of the couple know that there has been trouble in paradise in recent months.

“Megan is rethinking everything in her life,” a source previously said Us in April. “It became toxic between them and they argued a lot.”
