Preview: Warriors take on Pacers at Chase Center

The Golden State Warriors did it again and got back on the winning list after a victorious game over the Minnesota Timberwolves. This was Golden State’s first win after three games in which they gave up more than 143 points in two consecutive games, including a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies by 51 points.

The Dubs currently have a record of 15-12, which isn’t bad all things considered as this squad has had some question marks regarding the internal development of their young players.

On Christmas Eve they face the Indiana Pacers with a record of 14-15.

The Pacers have a plethora of options in their depth that could cause some problems for the Warriors on Monday night. TJ McConnell, Obi Toppin, Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith are basketball players to always keep an eye on. But don’t take my word for it, just listen to the Pacers blog “8 Points, 9 Seconds”:

It’s no secret that Indiana’s roster is deep, with several members of their backup team performing well. They were the highest-scoring second team in the league last season.

They looked good against the Kings on Sunday night. While the starters combined for 54 points, the Pacers’ bench outscored them with 58 points. Sacramento’s bench scored fewer than 30 points.

The Warriors themselves are struggling with their problems on the bench and are currently second in the league with 47.3 points per game. They rank 18th in FG% among bench players, which may have something to do with the fact that they also lead the league in the most three-pointers attempted by bench players at just under 18 per game.

Grab ’em and see what happens, eh, guys?
