The fires have destroyed over 1,000 buildings and forced over 130,000 residents to evacuate. Firefighters from neighboring states have joined the effort. Currently, the crisis is far from over, with four major fires burning out of control.

A devastating wildfire in Pacific Palisades that started Tuesday has spread quickly, covering over 15,000 acres, with most of the fire still uncontained. This fire is just one of several wildfires currently raging in Los Angeles, forcing thousands to flee their homes and leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. The upscale mountain neighborhood of Pacific Palisades, known for its celebrity homes, was hit particularly hard.

The wildfires also affected several celebrities, leading to evacuations and the destruction of homes across the region. Actors including Mark Hamill, Mandy Moore and James Woods were forced to flee, while Adam Brody, Leighton Meester and Anthony Hopkins reportedly lost their homes.

Other prominent figures, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Keaton and Tom Hanks, have threatened homes in neighboring areas. According to some reports, Ben Affleck fled his $20 million bachelor pad as the flames approached and sought refuge with his former wife and girlfriend Jennifer Garner.

The Los Angeles wildfires have hit Hollywood hard, forcing the postponement of the Critics’ Choice Awards and halting production on several major films and television shows, including “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Abbott Elementary.”
