‘Proud’ Beyoncé breaks down in tears as she watches daughter Blue Ivy, 12, record voice acting for ‘Mufasa’

They grow up so quickly.

Beyoncé became emotional as she watched her and Jay-Z’s eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, record voice-overs for the new film “Mufasa: The Lion King.”

“We’re here today taping The Lion King,” the “Cuff It” singer said in a video shared to Good Morning America on Instagram on Tuesday as she sat next to the 12-year-old.

The clip from March 2023 then shows a scene in which Beyoncé, 43, and Blue – who voice Nala and Princess Kiara respectively in the prequel – record in the studio in separate rooms opposite with headphones.

“Don’t stare at me,” the teenager tells her mother, who responds: “I can’t help it. You’re just too beautiful, girl. I’ll be here and close my eyes.”

Blue then shared that she is still shocked that she will be appearing in the Disney film.

“If I told my younger self that I would be in a movie, I would never believe myself,” she said, while the 32-time Grammy winner added, “Well you do, girl.” You are!”

Then Beyoncé teared up as she talked about how special it was to hear her daughter’s voice in the recordings for the first time.

“Seeing Blue as Kiara and hearing her voice come out of that character…” she said.

“Give me a second because I’m still just – I can’t believe that’s my baby!” the mother of three said, wiping away tears.

“This is so amazing.”

Beyoncé said it was “really hard to concentrate” after seeing Blue in action so emotional.

“I thought, ‘Wait. Wait, guys. Please give me a second. I have to digest this. I’m so proud of her,” she gushed, before her other daughter, Rumi, 7, came into the picture and lovingly hugged her mother.

Blue said it was a “great experience” voicing her role, before praising director Barry Jenkins for helping her so much through the process.

“I’m really happy that girls who look like me can see this film and hear and see themselves in it,” the former Grammy winner said.

The video ended with Beyoncé gushing about her daughter and saying how happy she was that “young brown girls” around the world could be inspired by the film.

“No one is prouder than Mom,” she said, kissing Blue on the cheek.

The appearance came a day after the Roc Nation Records founder’s name was included in an amended lawsuit filed by a woman who accused him and Sean “Diddy” Combs of raping her in 2000 when she was 13 years old.

Jay vehemently denied the allegations as an “extortion attempt” and urged the Jane Doe to file a criminal complaint instead of a civil complaint. (Combs, also 55, also denied the claims.)

On Monday, the billionaire rapper filed a motion to dismiss the rape charges against him and asked a judge to publicly name the accuser.

“Mufasa: The Lion King” hits theaters on December 20th.
