Purdue football has its best single-season attendance average since the Joe Tiller era

Purdue announced it had its best-attended football season since the Joe Tiller era. During the 2024 season, Ross-Ade Stadium averaged nearly 60,000 fans for the Boilermakers’ six home games.

This week, the Purdue football program announced that there was an average of 59,887 fans at Ross-Ade Stadium this season. This is the highest attendance for the program since the 2005 campaign.

Purdue played six home games this season, hosting Indiana State, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Oregon, Northwestern and Penn State. The Boilermakers played their final home game of 2024 last weekend.

It was a tough season for the Boilers, who had a record of 1-9 in ten games. Purdue has two games left and travels to Michigan State and Indiana to close out the year.
