Raiders-Buccaneers inactive Week 14: Jakobi Meyers plays

Las Vegas Raiders No. 1 wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is active for Sunday’s game at the 6-6 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Kick-off is at 10 a.m

Meyers missed Thursday’s practice with an ankle injury. Before practice on Friday, Las Vegas coach Antonio Pierce indicated that Meyers would be ready to play on Sunday. However, Meyers was listed as questionable on the Raiders’ injury report on Friday after being limited in practice.

Meyers has been the Raiders’ top receiver since Davante Adams was traded to the New York Jets in October. Meyers is having another solid year in his second season with the Raiders. He had 59 catches for 676 yards and two touchdown catches. He has the chance to set career goals in catches and receiving yards. In 2021, he had 83 catches for 866 yards with the New England Patriots.

Running back Alexander Mattison (ankle) is inactive. He has practiced on a limited basis and is questionable. He missed the last two games. Raiders coach Antonio Pierce said rookie Sincere McCormick will continue to get plenty of carries. He has completed a total of 17 rush attempts in the last two games.

Both running back Zamir White (quad) and cornerback Nate Hobbs (ankle) were out Friday. They haven’t practiced all week. Hobbs missed three games and White missed two games.

Meanwhile, running back Bucky Irving (hip/back) plays for Tampa Bay. He was listed as questionable.
