Randy Moss’ son angrily fires off report about his father’s health

Pro Football Hall of Famer and ESPN NFL analyst Randy Moss announced last week that he was retiring from the network because he and his family are having “internal issues.” Since then, Moss has received tons of support from his colleagues at ESPN, his former New England Patriots teammate, Tom Brady and the entire NFL community.

One of those voices, Larry Fitzgerald Sr., father of 11-time Pro Bowl player Larry Fitzgerald, took to Wide receivers Moss’ son Squidward.

“At the 66th NFL Hall of Fame ceremony here in Las Vegas, I just learned that Vikings HOF’s Randy Moss has liver cancer,” Fitzgerald Sr. wrote on “

Thaddeus Moss, outraged that Fitzgerald Sr. revealed his father’s private information to the public, responded to the post.

When Pro Football Hall of Famer and Moss teammate Brett Favre also tweeted that he had heard Moss was suffering from liver cancer, Moss’ son responded, thanking Favre for his respect and refuting the rumor.

“Brett, we really appreciate the support. That’s not true. My father will address the world when he is ready,” Moss wrote.

During his successful NFL career, which spanned 14 seasons, Moss, a six-time Pro Bowl selection, became known as one of the greatest playmakers at the wide receiver position in league history. He ranks fourth on the NFL all-time receiving yards list and his 156 touchdown receptions are the second most of all time.

Moss joined ESPN as an NFL analyst in July 2016 and appears regularly on the show NFL countdown on Sundayas well as Monday night countdown.
