Randy Moss’ son refutes rumors his father has liver cancer: ‘Disgusting’

Squidward Mossthe son of the NFL legend Randy MossHe vehemently denied a rumor about his father’s current health.

After that, concern for 47-year-old Randy began to grow Larry Fitzgerald Sr.the father of the former NFL star Larry Fitzgeraldposted via X on Tuesday, December 10th that Randy “has liver cancer.”

“Let’s show the power of prayer and pull Moss through this crisis 🙏🙏🙏,” Larry Sr. wrote. “I love you Randy.”

ESPN announced on Friday, December 6, that Randy would be retiring from the network NFL countdown on Sunday “over a longer period of time to focus on a personal health challenge.”

However, Thaddeus was not happy that Larry Sr. posted about his father without the family’s consent.

“That’s disgusting,” Thaddeus responded Tuesday about X. “You have no right to try to make private matters public for the sake of commitment. I don’t think my dad is talking to you, so check your damn sources.”

However, it didn’t take long for Larry Sr.’s now-deleted message to gain traction.

Former NFL quarterback Brett Favrewho briefly played with Randy on the Minnesota Vikings, posted about X: “I just heard the news that Randy Moss has liver cancer. Prayers to him and his family.”

Thaddeus responded, “Brett, we really appreciate the support. That is not true. My father will speak to the world when he is ready.”

Brett edited his post and deleted the line about Randy having cancer.

While Larry Sr. didn’t respond directly to Thaddeus, he reposted a message that appeared to confirm that his original message about Randy was false.

Randy spoke for the first time about his unspecified illness NFL countdown on Sunday earlier this month.

“Me, my wife and my family, we’re struggling with something internally,” Randy said on the Dec. 1 show. “You know, I have some great doctors around me. I couldn’t miss the show, I wanted to be here with you.”

Randy was married to his wife, Lydia Mosssince 2015.

In a video posted via Instagram ahead of its release on December 1, Randy urged his followers to take care of their health.

Randy said, “All men, get your checkups, get your blood work and we’ll take care of it.”
