Ravens win second straight AFC North title

The Ravens are 2024 AFC North champions and won the division title for the second straight year.

Baltimore claimed the crown with a 35-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Saturday night at M&T Bank Stadium, finishing the game with a 12-5 record.

The Ravens will enter the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the AFC and will host either the Los Angeles Chargers or the Pittsburgh Steelers at M&T Bank Stadium in the wild card round.

Saturday night’s win capped a strong comeback season for the Ravens, who started the year 0-2 and trailed the rival Pittsburgh Steelers by two games with four games left to play.

The Ravens responded in December, winning three games in 11 days, while the Steelers lost three games in a row, and Baltimore closed out the game with a victory over the Browns.

Baltimore last won back-to-back division titles in 2018 and 2019. No team has ever won the AFC North three years in a row.

The Ravens entered the 2024 season with the second-toughest schedule based on last year’s winning percentages. It turned out to be just as challenging, if not more so, than advertised.

But Baltimore scored big wins against upcoming playoff teams Buffalo, Pittsburgh, the Los Angeles Chargers, Houston and possibly Tampa Bay and Denver depending on how the rest of Week 18’s games go.
