According to Pete Nakos of On3 Sports, Texas senior quarterback Quinn Ewers has reportedly been offered nearly $6 million to remain in college football and enter the NCAA transfer portal.

On3 Sports estimates Quinn Ewers’ NIL worth at $4.3 million.

In his third year as the Texas Longhorns’ starting quarterback, Ewers has made a name for himself among the program’s all-time greats. After starting 29 games and leading Texas to 22 wins, he has thrown for 7,378 career passing yards, passing Chris Simms (1999-2002; 7,097) and ranking sixth in program history.

The elite passer has recorded 56 touchdown passes in his career, ranking fifth all-time at Texas. He has thrown a touchdown in 20 consecutive games, tying Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders for the longest active streak in the FBS. His winning streak trails only Colt McCoy’s program record of 29 games.

The report comes a day before the Longhorns face the Big 12 champion Arizona State Sun Devils in the 2024 Peach Bowl on New Year’s Day. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. CT.

There were recent reports that Ewers was transferring to Notre Dame and entering the NFL Draft.
