The Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills meet today in Week 15 at Ford Field in Detroit in a matchup of two of the NFL’s best teams. It’s even a possible preview of the 2025 Super Bowl.

The Lions (12-1) are first in the NFC and are on an 11-game winning streak in their fourth year under popular head coach Dan Campbell. The Bills (10-3), in coach Sean McDermott’s eighth year, are second in the AFC and suffered a 44-42 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

Both teams are led by MVP candidates at quarterback, including Jared Goff for the Lions and award favorite Josh Allen for the Bills.

The Lions feature a dynamic two-headed rushing attack of David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs, while the Bills rely on Allen and James Cook.

The Lions’ top receivers are Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, while the Bills are counting on Khalil Shakir and midseason newcomer Amari Cooper.

According to BetMGM, the Lions are home favorites by 2½ points.

The Lions are only down linebacker Trevor Nowaske, the Lions player who lives in his childhood home due to a concussion. Their ailing defensive linemen are back after missing last week’s Packers game (without Aidan Hutchinson, of course), and left tackle Taylor Decker (knee) returns after missing two games.

Lions uniforms vs. Bills: Black is back

The Lions will wear theirs Black Motor City Muscle jerseys and pants with blue helmets against the bills. It’s the second game the Lions have worn black this season after redesigning their jerseys this year. They debuted in Week 4 on Monday Night Football against Seattle with a 42-29 win. But both defenses are good and the Bills will be motivated to make up for last week’s defensive disaster against the Rams. We’ll still see points, but not quite as many as most people would expect.
