Rhea Ripley wins the women’s world title and makes her WWE Raw Netflix debut with the legend

On the January 6 episode of WWE Raw, Rhea Ripley attempted to end a 226-day era of heartache, betrayal and anger. In their intense battle, Ripley and nemesis Liv Morgan fought for the WWE Women’s World Championship, and Ripley walked away not only with the sweet taste of revenge, but also with a dream interaction with a WWE Hall of Famer in “The Undertaker.”

The moment the bell rang, Ripley and Morgan got into a massive fight. Ripley quickly took advantage of Morgan’s support by leveling Raquel Rodriguez with a senton to the outside, but Ripley’s anger allowed Morgan to quickly turn the tide back in her favor with a hurricanrana from the apron. The champion and challenger continued their heated battle, with both competitors knocking out their opponents’ finishers and keeping Los Angeles on tenterhooks.

After failing several times to secure victory with the Ob-Liv-ion, Morgan turned to the moveset of the late, great Eddie Guerrero and connected The Three Amigos and a Frog Splash to Ripley. Ripley exited, much to Morgan’s shock, and The Eradicator tried to land a badass sequence of his own. Ripley delivered two Riptides in a row to the champion, securing her the victory and the WWE Women’s World Championship.

“I missed you,” Ripley mouthed with her mastery.

As Ripley began to celebrate, Dominik Mysterio came up to her with his arms outstretched and hugged her. Revenge tasted sweet as Ripley feigned a retort, only to low blow Mysterio before hitting him with another Riptide.

The evening became even more special for Ripley when the music of The American Bada** filled Los Angeles. The Undertaker arrived on a polished motorcycle and took a joyride around the ring. The segment ended with Ripley and The Undertaker talking side by side.
