DELPHI, Ind. (AP) — Grayson Yohr, a freelance podcast producer from California, was among those who returned to Delphi just days before Christmas to watch the sentencing of a man as part of the conclusion of a murder trial for which she was seeking a seat A courtroom case had been argued day after day earlier in the fall.

Yohr said she stayed in the city for three weeks during the trial and then flew back to California. Yohr returned to Indiana to attend the sentencing.

“We knew it wasn’t going to be super organized, but I didn’t necessarily think there would be that many people,” she said of the nightly lines for the trial itself.
