Roads remain snow-covered or icy early Tuesday morning

The forecast for tonight:
Snowfall will end at 11:00 p.m. through midnight in the Pikes Peak region (Teller and El Paso counties) and end at 2:00 a.m. across the region.

Additional snowfall between 6 p.m. and night:

The clouds will clear overnight and the cold air will settle in. Low temperatures overnight will be very cold, in the single digits and teens in most areas.

Colorado Springs Forecast: Low: 15; High: 35;
Tuesday starts with cold temperatures and icy roads. Road temperatures are expected to rise above freezing between 10am and 11am. The day will be sunny with a NNW wind at 5-10 mph and gusts to 15 mph.

Pueblo Forecast: Low: 16; High: 39;
Tuesday will be cold with icy patches on the roads in the morning then the sun will melt the roads between 10 and 11am. It will be a cool and sunny day with WNW winds at 5-10 mph.

Canon City forecast: Low: 12; High: 37;
Roads will be snowy or icy until mid-morning and then clear up with the help of the sun. Tuesday will be sunny and cool, with WNW winds at 10 mph and gusts to 20 mph.

Woodland Park Forecast: Low: 3; High: 25;
Very cold in the morning with snowy streets. The sun will help melt the snow, but temperatures will remain below freezing on Tuesday.

Tri Lakes Forecast: Low: Teenager; High: 30;
Sunny but cold on Tuesday, with road temperatures remaining below freezing until late morning. The air temperature will remain below freezing, so unplowed roads may remain covered in snow.

Plains forecast: Low: teens/20s; High: 40s;
Icy areas on the roads will remain slippery until late morning. The sun will be shining on Tuesday and temperatures will start out very cold before rising to lows in the mid 40s.

Forecast for Walsenburg and Trinidad: Low: 11/13; High: 33/35;
Skies will clear on Tuesday, but roads will remain snow-covered in the morning. The sunshine will help melt plowed roads. It stays cool all day and rises just above freezing.

Mountain Forecast: Low: individual digits; High: 20s;
It will be very cold in the morning and temperatures in the mountain valleys are expected to remain below freezing throughout the day. Skies will be sunny and plowed roads will likely see some melting despite the cold temperatures.

Advanced Forecast Forecast:
I’m happy to report that starting Wednesday will be glorious, with a seasonal 40s and 50s and lots of sunshine.
