Saints vs. Raiders personnel predictions | Saints

The New Orleans Saints (5-10) are officially out of the playoffs. They play their last home game of the season on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders (3-12). Here are our staff’s predictions for Monday night’s game.

Jeff Duncan (season record: 4-11)

Saints 17, Raiders 16: Expect the Saints to bounce back from their poor performance against the Packers and pick up another win in the home finale. Kendre Miller has a breakout game for the injury-ravaged offense and the defense adds a pick-six from Tyrann Mathieu to send the Saints into 2025 on a high note.

Zach Ewing (Season record: 10-5)

Raiders 19, Saints 16: After the Raiders blew their chance at the top draft pick, coach Antonio Pierce criticized the idea that they would do anything other than try to win. They will find a willing partner in the Saints, who appear to be playing hard for Darren Rizzi but have too many injured and ineffective players at the moment to win anything.

Luke Johnson (Season record: 9-6)

Saints 16, Raiders 13: These are two bad teams with two bad offenses. Raiders rookie sensation Brock Bowers may make me regret this pick as the Saints can’t seem to find a way to slow down tight ends, but I’ll beat the Saints in a tough spot in the home finale.

Matthew Paras (Season record: 10-5)

Saints 14, Raiders 10: TThe Raiders have already lost the number 1 pick to the New York Giants. They can’t afford to move further down the draft order, which is why I’m picking the Saints. This could also be a good game for Spencer Rattler, although he needs to take better care of the ball for New Orleans to win this game.

Rod Walker (Season record: 13-2)

Raiders 13, Saints 9: Don’t expect it to be pretty. The only uglier game on Sunday in the NFL is the duel between the Titans and the Jaguars. The Saints are missing too many weapons, including Erik McCoy. They are 4-3 when McCoy plays and 1-7 when he doesn’t play. So give me a nap with the Raiders.
