Saquon Barkley struck out, but the Eagles led the Steelers 17-13 at halftime

Jalen Hurts threw two touchdown passes in the first half and the Eagles took a 17-13 halftime lead.

Hurts completed 12 of 13 passes for 146 yards despite apparently suffering a broken finger on his left hand. He also wears a glove. The Eagles have listed Hurts as a full participant on the injured list all week.

AJ Brown has five catches for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Eagles running back Saquon Barkley left the game in the second quarter after Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick hit the running back in the thigh. The Eagles did not release an injury update, but the half ended with Barkley on the sideline.

Barkley, who needs 111 yards to stay on pace and set the NFL single-season rushing record, has 31 yards on seven carries.

The Eagles defeated the Steelers 177 to 80, but Pittsburgh sacked Hurts three times, including two by TJ Watt. One of Watt’s sacks was a strip sack on Beanie Bishop, who was recovered for the Steelers at the Philadelphia 45.

Eagles punt returner Cooper DeJean parried a punt that Nick Herbig recovered for the Steelers, setting up a minus-8 yard field goal drive.

The Steelers scored 10 points in 2:34 in the finale with an 11-play, 70-yard touchdown drive that ended with Pat Freiermuth’s 9-yard touchdown reception and a five-play, 14-yard drive to Braden Mann’s 29-yard punt ended in a 49-yard field goal by Chris Boswell.

Russell Wilson is 9 of 16 for 67 yards and a touchdown and is the team’s leading rusher with 13 yards on three carries.
