Scarlett Johansson gave her husband Colin Jost a very cheeky dig during this weekend’s episode of his own show, Saturday Night Live.

The 74-year-old entertainment icon Martin Short hosted the popular sketch show for the fifth time – and was accepted into the Five-Timers Club.

In his opening sketch he was welcomed into the coveted group by a dazzling group of A-list celebrities including Tom Hanks, Scarlett and Emma Stone.

Kristin Wiig, Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey, all former regulars on Saturday Night Live, were also part of the sketch, as was Melissa McCarthy.

As did John Mulaney, Paul Rudd and Alec Baldwin, who rounded out a group of ultra-famous artists who have all hosted the show at least five times – often more.

The sketch took place in an elegant bar reserved for the high-profile clique – so much so that Scarlett had to cheekily slam the door on Colin.

As Scarlett happily stormed into the lounge, Colin was seen running after her, standing right outside the door with an expectant smile.

Scarlett left him with no illusions about his position and pushed the door right in his face – and after he walked away, she pushed the door one last time to make sure it was fully closed.

All the stars in the Five-Timers Club wore navy blue bathrobes that featured a “5” logo to indicate their membership in the group.

The only exception was Alec, the most prolific show in the history of the half-century-old sketch show, whose label read: “17.”

Tom, who originated the idea of ​​the Five-Timers Club in a 1990 episode of the show, opened the skit by addressing the audience from an armchair.

He described the club as “a brilliantly lazy way to avoid writing a monologue.” “It has become one of the most exclusive clubs in our industry.”

In fact, the Five-Timers Club and the lounge where they meet have been featured in several episodes of the show over the years as new members have been admitted.

When Martin Short’s time came this weekend, he was greeted with a bit of banter from his fellow comedy legends.
