Cincinnati Public Schools announced that schools would be closed Tuesday due to the weather.

Only essential employees should report to work.

Cincinnati plows cleared 11,000 miles overnight

Update 2 p.m: The Cincinnati Department of Public Services reported in a statement Monday afternoon that more than 100 plow drivers had logged 11,000 miles before 7 a.m. Sunday evening and Monday morning

“The city is committed to making city streets passable 24 hours after the last snowfall,” the statement said.
