Sean Manaea is back with the Mets on a three-year, $75 million contract

Sean Manaea remains in Queens.

He is signing a three-year deal worth $75 million to return to the Mets, The Post’s Jon Heyman reported early Monday morning.

The 32-year-old Manaea had a career year in his first season with the Mets last season, posting a 12-6 record and a 3.47 ERA in the regular season and a 4.74 ERA in the postseason, as the team reached the NLCS.

The left-hander opted out of his $13.5 million contract for 2025 to test the open market, but he will ultimately end up back with the Mets pending a physical.

He represents an important part of the Mets’ rotation.

The Mets entered the offseason with only Kodai Senga and David Peterson as true members of the starting lineup.

And they have already lost Luis Severino to the Athletics.

But they signed Frankie Montas to a two-year, $34 million deal and Clay Holmes — whom they want to turn from a backup player back into a starter — to a three-year, $38 million deal.

Japanese pitcher Roki Sasaki, who met with both the Mets and Yankees on Thursday, remains available.

And now that Manaea is back, the rotation is nearing completion.
