After a physically and mentally demanding week filled with altered travel plans and the devastation of a city decimated by wildfires, the Los Angeles Rams took care of business on Monday night against the Minnesota Vikings.

They earned a 27-9 victory and put on a show for their fans who have suffered so much over the last week. Sean McVay was incredibly proud of his team after the game and applauded them in the locker room with a passionate victory speech.

“You’re talking about a connected group. You’re talking about a team that has been saying (expletive) all week, “We’re made for this (expletive).” That’s exactly what you did. Incredible. And all you did was represent exactly what we wanted to be about, man. A city that’s going through (expletive) a lot of different things that can tell you, “I’m proud of this group.” Just be yourself. We said it this morning: Pack your bags, we’re going to Philly.”

McVay then passed it on to Matthew Stafford, who brought the locker room down with his own fiery words.

“That’s a great (expletive) start. There is still a lot (expletive) to be done. Let’s clarify your opinion. Let’s beat Philly, shall we?”

This is a tight group, which makes them a dangerous team the rest of the way. The Eagles won’t be easy to beat, but there’s no one left in the playoffs that the Rams can’t beat.
