Sean McVay hilariously called Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen an ‘alien’

The Buffalo Bills saw superstar quarterback Josh Allen play one of his best games ever on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Unfortunately, his Superman-like performance wasn’t enough to lead the Bills to victory.

After a fantastic game from the superstar quarterback and MVP frontrunner, Buffalo was defeated with a final score of 44-42.

It was a depressing loss for the Bills that exposed some major weaknesses. Defensively, the team has to find a way to get better.

A defensive performance like that could well derail Buffalo’s hopes of winning a Super Bowl this year.

After the game, Rams head coach Sean McVay commented on Allen. He even hilariously called him an “alien” in his post-game comments.

“Josh Allen is an alien,” McVay said. “We knew he was capable of some of what he could do and create. He showed that. That’s why he’s as respected and respected as he is in this league. It’s all deserved and deserved, but our guys found a way to make just enough plays to come out victorious.”

McVay went on to talk about how difficult it was to defend against Allen.

“It’s such a fine line. I thought he did a great job with the move,” McVay said. “We had some good moves up front where you try to have some marking moves and things like that, but if you leave a gap open he’ll go forward. He can stretch out, look down the field, or run away from you. He can break tackles. I mean, it’s a nightmare to defend and that’s why it’s a balance. I don’t think you can just sit back and let him take control of the bag. He can beat you from the pocket, he can beat you with his mind, he can beat you with his arm, he can beat you with his legs. That’s why he’s a legitimate MVP candidate. That’s why he’s one of the best players in this league.”

Speaking of Allen’s performance, he ended up completing 22 of his 37 pass attempts for 342 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Allen also tore up Los Angeles with 82 yards and three more touchdowns.

Losing by such insulting numbers is literally unheard of.

Things won’t get any easier for the Bills in the future. In Week 15, they will head to a matchup against the Detroit Lions. To win this game, the defense has to play much better.

Hopefully Allen can continue to play at the dominant level he has shown this season. He’s an MVP front-runner for a reason. Buffalo simply needs the rest of the team to consistently step up around them.
