See ‘Finding Mr. Christmas’ Winner in Hallmark Movie Preview (Exclusive)

In just five days, Ezra Moreland – the winner of the Hallmark+ reality competition Find Mr. Christmas – will make his television film debut on the Hallmark Channel’s holiday romantic comedy Happy Holidays. And as you’ll see in this exclusive preview of the film (premiering December 21st at 8pm ET/PT), they’re both Ezra And his six-pack is ready for the close-up.

In HolidaysMoreland — a 31-year-old model and former Navy rescue diver — plays Max, a single man who runs a dog shelter in Seattle. Over the holidays, he meets Mia (Jessica Lowndes), a website editor for the Seattle Tourism Board who has just rescued a stray dog. According to Hallmark’s official description, “Mia agrees to let Max’s ailing dog find comfort with her newfound companion in exchange for Max showing her the hidden treasures of Seattle. On their journey together, both leave their comfort zones and discover new perspectives and create a meaningful connection.

And since this film is set in Seattle, there’s more rain than snow – which brings us to the preview clip. After getting caught in a downpour, Max and Mia return to Mia’s apartment with their dogs to dry off. While she goes upstairs to change, Max decides to take off his wet shirt and… well, Mia falls silent at the sight of his body. Watch the full clip above.

Moreland, who teased his shirtless scene in an interview Weekly entertainment Last week he said he had about two months after his win to prepare for his first TV movie role Find Mr. Christmas. “I got the script and had a bit of time with it, which was so nice,” he remembers. “I was allowed to take acting lessons and break down the script scene by scene. That was the first time I really tried to do something like that character, Max.”

Although he has the title “Mr. Christmas,” Moreland said nothing could prepare him for “the real work” of making a Hallmark movie. “As I was going through the first few days of filming, I thought to myself, ‘This is just as challenging, if not more so, than the Navy lifeguard school that the guys on either side of me were taking.’ were demanding,” he said. “I’m like, ‘This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done,’ but it was amazing and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
