See the winter 2025 drink menu

Move aside, peppermint mocha. Starbucks is gearing up for a new, limited-edition winter menu as well as a new staple.

Starbucks will offer Cortados for the first time on Friday. Typically made in a 1:1 ratio of steamed milk and espresso, cortados are small but have a strong flavor. The new drink will join the coffee chain’s signature range alongside Café Latte and Cappuccino.

What is a Cortado?

Starbucks’ Cortado features three ristretto shots of Blonde Espresso and steamed milk. The drink is served in a small 8 ounce cup and is only available hot. Ristretto espresso shots are smaller and more concentrated than traditional espresso shots.

The Brown Sugar Oatmilk Cortado consists of three ristretto shots, steamed oat milk, brown sugar syrup and is topped with a pinch of cinnamon. The drink is also served in an 8-ounce mug and is only available hot.

  • Pistachio latte: Espresso, steamed milk, pistachio flavor and a brown butter topping (available hot, iced and blended as a Frappuccino)

  • Pistachio Cream Cold Brew: Cold brew, vanilla syrup, pistachio cream cold foam and brown butter streusel

  • Vegan spicy falafel bag: Crushed falafel, hummus, roasted red peppers, pickled onions and spicy herb sauce wrapped in a toasted flatbread

  • Danish vanilla sauce: Danish pastry filled with vanilla pudding

  • Single-Origin Ethiopia: Light roasted coffee with ginger blossom aromas with notes of mandarin, lemon balm and sweet dates (available as a whole bean or as a finely roasted filter coffee)

A new seasonal drinkware collection is also available, featuring bright pinks, cool blues and bright greens. The collection includes tumblers, cold cups, tumblers and water bottles in various sizes. The range varies depending on the store.

A change to the matcha recipe

Starting Friday, Starbucks is also offering a new, unsweetened matcha powder. Guests have the option to add classic syrup to their matcha drinks if they prefer a little sweetness.

Hot Honey returns to Starbucks Reserve locations

Due to popular demand, Starbucks’ Hot Honey has returned, available only at Starbucks Reserve Roasteries. The return includes five new drinks:

  • Hot honey cortado: Reserve espresso, steamed milk and hot honey

  • Hot Honey Dirty Chai: Reserve espresso, oolong chai, steamed milk and hot honey

  • Hot honey ginger spritz: Serve espresso, ginger beer and hot honey over ice, served with a cinnamon stick and pickled ginger

  • Hot Honey Espresso Martini: Reserve espresso, Kalak single malt vodka, vanilla syrup, Ancho Reyes Chile liqueur and hot honey, garnished with spicy-sweet cold foam and black sesame

  • Orange Spice Espresso Martini (non-alcoholic): Reserve Espresso, Spiritless Kentucky 74 Spiced, vanilla syrup and Scrappy’s Orange Bitters, topped with a dried orange slice

This winter, Starbucks Reserve Roasteries is also offering four new, limited-time sweet and savory treats:

  • Hot honey pastries: Scone baked with Calabrian chilies and garnished with a drizzle of sweet honey

  • Prosciutto and Parmigiano-Reggiano on herb cornetto sandwich: Dry smoked prosciutto and Parmigiano Reggiano paired with a warm herb cornetto

  • Smoked salmon and cream cheese on a cornetto sandwich with seeds: Thinly sliced ​​smoked salmon with red onions, arugula and cream cheese, served on a baked cornetto with seeds

  • Meatball and Burrata Pizza: Homemade meatballs over Pomodoro sauce, garnished with burrata and parsley

Starbucks Reserve Roasteries also offers several new bean coffees:

  • Sun Dried Ethiopia Oromia West Arsi: Fruity and sweet aromas

  • Mexico Tenejapa San Cristobal: Bright and zesty citrus flavors with notes of candied kumquat, toasted almonds and cacao nibs

  • Nicaragua Maracaturra Tres Proceso: Citrus fruits, rhubarb jam and Bing cherry
