Selena Gomez has found the right guy in Benny Blanco.

The Just murders in the building Star announced on social media on Wednesday that she and the musician are engaged.

In a series of photos captioned “Eternity begins now…” Gomez shows off a ring and a picnic and snuggles up to Blanco.

The couple started dating in 2023. In May 2024, Blanco said that he saw marriage in their future.

When he was asked The Howard Stern Show When he proposed, Blanco laughed and said, “When I look at her… I always think, I don’t know a world that could be better than this,” PEOPLE reported.

He joked that his accomplished partner made him insecure.

“We laugh all damn day, she inspires me. When I get home from work I think I had a good day. I’m like, ‘What did you do?'” Blanco said. “‘Oh, I just filmed this thing with Meryl Streep and then went to a fundraiser and now I’m recording.’ My day sounds like shit compared to hers every day.”

Just last month, Gomez was asked about her relationship and why she felt comfortable enough to share beautiful moments from it on social media.

“I guess this is the safest feeling I’ve ever had in one, and I see a future with this person,” she said The Hollywood Reporter. “And if you get out there a little bit, people aren’t as hungry to chase you. For example, if they hear something, they will do it, but if you say, ‘I did it,’ they are.” For example, “Oh, there you are, I’m just going to (restaurant) Sushi Park. But there’s so much of my relationship that people don’t see, that’s just mine.”

It will be the first marriage for both of them.
