Selena Gomez says she’s “beyond proud” of Benny Blanco’s mention as Sexiest Man Alive.

A clip from Selena Gomez’s upcoming CBS Sunday Morning The interview was about her boyfriend Benny Blanco’s feature in People Magazine’s 2024 Sexiest Man Alive issue, published on November 11th. The star shared how “proud” she was of her husband.

“Yes, that’s my husband!” she said with a big smile when the problem was mentioned. She said when she found out he would be there, she was thrilled.

“You know, it was very charming,” Gomez said. “I think I’m more than proud to know that there is someone in the world who cares about every little detail of who I am.”

Gomez continued, “And to have someone support me, encourage me, inspire me, motivate me.” It brings me joy. And most of all, he’s just my best friend. And I’m really lucky.”

For his spread, Blanco shared details of his relationship with Gomez, including how they wake up together and what he considers a romantic date.

“I’m a real morning person,” he shared. “I prefer to spend time with Sel because we both get up very early. It’s like our moment before the rest of the world wakes up.”

Then he called Just murders in the building Star is his “best friend”.

“Every day is the best day of my life,” he said.

When discussing courtship, Blanco said that he “gives his all on every date…That doesn’t mean he spends his entire bank account. It means paying attention and listening.”

For a perfect first date, Blanco suggested: “It has to be something crazy because you want to make an impression. The person will go out on many first dates and you need to secure your spot.”

He added: “Everyone is so busy, everyone is so stressed. If we can just sit back and forget everything for one to four hours – if it’s a good date, five hours – then everything is fine. Don’t you sometimes leave a date and think, ‘Oh my God, what the hell?’ Time just flew by!’”

Gomez is apparently just as romantic. The music producer praised his girlfriend for her commitment to making special moments possible for both of them.

“We give everything for each other,” he said. “One time Sel said, ‘Oh, I want to take you on a date.’ We were driving somewhere and she had rented an entire botanical garden for me.”
