Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are feeling the love in 2025.

The Just murders in the building The 32-year-old actress celebrated New Year’s Eve by posting a series of videos and photos of herself and the 36-year-old music producer on Instagram just weeks after getting engaged.

Gomez started her slideshow by taking a photo of a paper plate of beans on which someone had scrawled “I love you” in ink. She also included a cozy selfie with Blanco as well as a shot from a glamorous couple’s night out where he kissed Gomez’s hand.

Gomez also shared a video, seemingly from the same evening, of her and Blanco smooching.

She included a photo of the couple posing while looking at a security monitor at a TJ Maxx store. Rounding out the gallery was a picture of Gomez and her younger sister enjoying New York restaurant Serendipity 3’s iconic frozen hot chocolate, as well as a mirror selfie showing Gomez’s engagement ring.

“Happy New Year ❤️,” Gomez wrote in her caption.

Days before New Year’s Eve, Gomez and Blanco spent their first Christmas as an engaged couple at a Hanukkah party hosted by composer Benj Pasek. They got cozy during the star-studded apartment party.

Blanco and Gomez began dating in June 2023 but made their relationship public in December. The following month, they made their first red carpet appearance together at the 2024 Emmy Awards.

A source told PEOPLE in April that the couple was “so in love” at this point in their relationship. “It’s a very serious relationship and they’re doing long distance while she’s in New York for work commitments,” the insider said.

“Benny makes her feel special and they try to see each other as often as possible,” they added. “She really feels like this is the best she’s ever been treated by a man, and she’s been all smiles since they’ve been together.”

On December 11, Gomez posted about Blanco popping the question and surprising her with a stunning marquis diamond ring estimated at 6 carats. “Now eternity begins…” Gomez wrote on Instagram, showing off the jewelry.

“Hey, wait… that’s my wife,” Blanco replied playfully.

An insider told PEOPLE that the proposal was “very hers.” Blanco had surprised her with her favorite Taco Bell meal when she popped the question. Following the wish, the newly engaged couple celebrated with friends and family in a “spontaneous get-together”.

“Benny and Selena were so excited to share the news with their loved ones right away,” the source added. “It’s such a real partnership between them.”
