Several schools in Guilford County are on remote learning plans due to heating issues

Guilford County Schools officials announced that Jackson Middle and Monticello Brown Summit will host a remote learning day on Dec. 2 due to heating issues. This also impacts fourth and fifth grade students and staff at Foust Elementary. Parents and guardians can pick up meals for Jackson and fourth grade and Foust fifth grade students at 9 a.m. and noon. Meals can be picked up by Monticello Brown Summit students at 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. K-3 Foust students will learn in-person as usual at the former Murphey Elementary School site. This also impacts fourth and fifth grade students and staff at Foust Elementary School.

Parents and guardians can pick up meals for fourth- and fifth-grade Jackson and Foust students at 9 a.m. and noon.

For Monticello Brown Summit students, meals can be picked up at 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

K-3 Foust students will learn in-person as usual at the former Murphy Elementary School location.
