It’s probably safe to say Shaquille O’Neal has spent most of his life trying to be one of the greatest people in the room, if not the greatest. The 7-foot-1 NBA icon is known for his breathtaking height, and while there are of course people taller than him, we rarely get to see what that would even look like. That is, until now.

In an epic video from Shaq and Hot Freestyle, the basketball legend is seen with University of Florida Gators player Olivier Rioux. At 7 feet 1 inch tall, Rioux is a center on the college basketball team that currently holds the Guinness Record for tallest teenager in the world.

O’Neal can be seen pointing downward in the video Head of Artist Management at Medium Rare, Logan Bohbot before turning around and staring directly into Rioux’s chest. In a hilarious moment, Shaq slowly looks up to look the tall teenager in the eyes before looking directly into the camera with an expression of complete shock and awe.

Per Guinness World RecordsRioux first won the title at age 15, when he was 7-foot-5. On the official Guinness website, Rioux explains that “after an examination,” doctors explained that his height had everything to do with his family’s genetics. “My father is 1.80 meters tall, my mother is 1.80 meters tall and my older brother is 1.80 meters tall,” he explained. “So we’re a pretty big family.”

Of course, fans had a lot of fun with the comments on the hilarious post. In a comment with over 8,000 likes, one user wrote: “Shaq has a great sense of humor. A true man of the people.” Another added: “You know it’s wild when Shaq has to look up.”

Many were simply grateful to Shaq for bringing some lightness and laughter into their days. One user wrote: “😂 Funniest video I’ve seen on the internet today, thank you.” Another added: “It doesn’t even look right,” along with a crying emoji.
