“After (playoff) week, Snoop and I thought, ‘We want to find a good record, a huge record.’ I always knew this song, I knew it since I was a kid, and I wanted to wait until I was old enough to really do it justice. I sent it to him and he was like, “I’ve never heard that before,” and he freaked out and said, “Tom Jones is a gangster here, I love that,” and then we picked it. Snoop really helped me explore all the dynamics of that and it was literally a huge honor to sing and be part of the Tom Jones legacy.”

During the two-month break between filming the playoffs and the start of the live shows, Jeremy went home and grew a mustache. It wasn’t something he did in honor of Movemeber, just a return to a look he’d had for years, just not when he first filmed The voice.

“I had a mustache for years, and when I came on the show I thought, ‘I’ll shave it off and just see how I’m perceived,'” he says. “But when I started my journey and went home and really took care of myself, I thought, ‘You know what? I’ll bring this back. “I will come back with a new look” and I feel confident in it.”
