Singer warns fans against getting Botox because she ‘can’t smile anymore’

Be careful Botox.

At least, that’s the public service announcement singer Meghan Trainor wants to make, as she clearly doesn’t want fans to make the same cosmetic mistake she made herself.

During a Nov. 20 episode of the “Workin’ On It with Meghan Trainor & Ryan Trainor” podcast, which featured her husband, actor Daryl Sabara, as a guest, the pop singer expressed her deep regret over getting Botox.

What may surprise many is that the “Made You Look” pop singer opened up about her experience with the cosmetic procedure early in the episode and revealed that she can no longer smile.

“To all my fellow 30-something girls out there, hello – I’ve had too much Botox and I need help,” Trainor said. “I screwed up. Listen, I’ve had Botox, a few times, just a few times, just up here, just on my forehead. And someone convinced me, with my small lips, that with a lip flip you can put filler right over your upper lip so you can have a nice flip on your upper lip.”

“And I could have one for the first time in my 30 years of life. It wasn’t true, was it? And besides, I can’t smile anymore,” she continued.

Trainor then showed her brother and husband that there are no limits to her smiles and encouraged listeners to “go to YouTube to check it out.”

“And now I can’t ignore it anymore. And wherever I go, I can’t smile. It hurts my face to smile even if I even try,” she said.

Trainor even recalled taking photos at a dog shelter recently and in one picture, the Botox seemed to make her look less than happy while holding the dog.

“I look like I smelled someone’s fart,” she said.

Trainor added that she learned a valuable lesson.

“Do you know what that taught me? It taught me that my smile lights up a room. And if it’s not there, it’s a dim light. Someone help me!” she added.

To hopefully fix the problem, the “NO” singer said she uses “vibrators” on her upper lip to get rid of the Botox. She then shared her decision to undergo breast enlargement surgery because she had “mommy boobs left.”
