Sixers’ KJ Martin explains role in offense and improved 3-point shooting

PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia 76ers forward KJ Martin is constantly working on his game. The 23-year-old is a bouncy player who can do many different things on the floor, such as: B. Roll hard off screens, land at the basket, and use his basketball IQ to jump to the basket and get some easy looks.

Another aspect of his game that he wants to add is a 3-point shot. He is shooting 33.3% from deep this season, up from 28.6% in 2023-24. Granted, Martin is taking less than one 3-pointer per game, but his confidence continues to grow as he looks to add this to his game.

“Everything feels great,” Martin said of his shot. “Confidence was the biggest part of it. So just the confidence to go out there and shoot my shot. My teammates and coaches also push me to shoot that shot. So that felt good.”
