PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia 76ers will be one of 10 teams playing on the road against the defending champion Boston Celtics on Christmas Day. The Sixers have a dynamic trio in Joel Embiid, Paul George and Tyrese Maxey and will look to make a statement.

Christmas Day is special in the NBA. It’s a day when the best teams and talent bounce around the hardwood, putting on a show of acrobatics and mastery as they attempt to put on a show on the league’s premiere day.

“Yeah, I mean, it’s great,” George said of playing at Christmas. “It’s great to be in the spotlight on this day, to even be playing on this day. It’s an honor and you cherish these moments. These are the games you think back on. My children will have memories of this.”
