Skyrim fans overwhelmed by the “incredible scope” of the truly massive “expansion”

A playable dark fantasy expansion

There are so many mods and fan-made extensions for it Skyrim that it can be dizzying. So when a fan mentions something that needs to be played, it’s worth paying attention to.

Out of reach is a mod that vastly expands the story, lore and world of Skyrim far beyond the original game (excuse the pun) and everything was created by fans.

Skyrim is still played by millions of fans worldwide

One player who recommended the mod on Reddit mentioned the following: “The scope of the mod is actually incredible considering the author did most of the work himself.” As it is, that’s what it is I have always wanted Skyrim to be.”

They noted that the new storyline is “mature” and although I haven’t played the mod myself yet, it sounds like it deals with serious topics like genocide.

Based on the comments in the thread, it seems so Out of reach is a great expansion with a problematic character in Damien.

“I kill Damian every time without remorse. Man, fuck him,” shouts a Skyrim fan.

From what I’ve gathered from the thread, it seems that the plot contains a lot of themes surrounding the ideas of genocide, with many darker rounds of conversation with NPCs.

“It’s the only one so far Skyrim “Mod was playing with serious literary values, by which I mean things like symbolism and themes,” comments C-McGuire.

This mod is considered one that explores the land’s races, wars, and battles, as it contains plenty of in-game lore and conversations to absorb.

Many consider it a “must see,” with one fan eagerly commenting, “You’re damn right. It’s damn beautiful. And brutal.”

Out of reach is referred to as an “adult” mod on NexusMods. So if you’re tempted to play it, be aware that it covers a lot of adult themes.
