Social media reaction to the Miami Dolphins’ loss to the Green Bay Packers

The Week 13 loss in Green Bay was simply too much for Miami Dolphins fans to bear alone. They took to social media to express their dissatisfaction at another cold defeat at the end of the season.

The Miami Dolphins lost to the Green Bay Packers 30-17 in cold and (some) snow. They wanted to change the narrative, but nothing changed. They were embarrassed during prime time on a national holiday.

Things couldn’t have been much worse on Thursday evening.

A fan said on social media that he wants the National Football League to ban the Dolphins from playing on national television at night. The embarrassment that @joboken5 felt can easily be applied to many Dolphins fans across the base.

Zach, a university student, said the Dolphins’ loss ruined their fan base’s holiday cheer. With the remainder of the winter break just around the corner and the Dolphins having two more cold weather games, the holidays could be in even more jeopardy.

@cujoknows believes that if the season ends with cold-weather games against above-average teams, it will be nothing more than a dumpster fire. It’s hard to argue with him when the team doesn’t have cold weather games during the Mike McDaniel era.

Cujo believes the Dolphins have the best chance of winning games when the temperature is above 60 degrees and the teams’ winning percentage is below .500. The way the last two seasons have gone, we can’t find fault with that statement.

Zachapp expressed dismay at Washington’s muffed punt. He even went so far as to call the Dolphins an embarrassment.

Utah UD, aka @utahdolphin, unlike Miami UD named Udonis Haslem, believes the Dolphins are the softest team in the NFL. All UD wants, according to his profile, is for the Dolphins to win a championship in his lifetime. Let’s hope he lives a long life and gets to experience that.

A self-proclaimed Jets fan had wormed his way into the Dolphins timeline. He’s this week’s Captain Obvious, but he really has little room to talk.

The Dolphins may not be able to win cold weather games as a warm weather team, but what does that say for the Jets? The Jets play in a cold climate and still can’t win at home.
