Spencer Pratt, Adam Brody and Anna Faris are among the celebrities whose homes have reportedly burned down in flames as evacuations continue

As wildfires rage across parts of Los Angeles County, Hollywood stars are among the many who have lost their homes or been evacuated.

The Pacific Palisades is the home of Adam Brody, star of Nobody wants that, and his wife, Leighton Meester, were reportedly destroyed in the fire, as was Anna Faris’, according to TMZ. The songwriter Diane Warren also lost her home.

“I have owned this house for almost 30 years,” Warren wrote on Instagram. It looks like it was lost in the fire last night. A rainbow shines on it, which I understand as a sign of hope for all living beings affected by this tragedy.”

The Pacific Palisades home of The hills Stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag were destroyed by fire. Pratt shared videos on social media as flames broke out across the home they live in with their two young children.

“The nightmare came true,” he wrote.

He later shared a picture taken with a camera at his son’s kindergarten home. He said the “only positive sign” he saw when “our house burned down” was that the child’s bed was “burnt in the shape of a heart.” He called it “a sign of how much love there is in this house” and said he was “so grateful” for their memories there.

Pratt’s sister Stephanie revealed more about the fire, saying her father tried to save her brother’s house, but “he couldn’t do anything.” Her parents’ nearby home has since burned down, she said. Her own home in Pacific Palisades is in the path of the fire, but she had no information about it yet.

Cameron Mathison posted a video on Instagram showing his house destroyed and still burning.

Ricki Lake posted previous pictures of her “dream home” on Instagram, but in her caption she wrote, “It’s all gone.”

James Woods posted a photo showing the fire spreading over a hill to his deck.

The actor later wrote: “I couldn’t believe our pretty little house in the hills had lasted so long. It feels like losing a loved one.”

The wildfires known in LA as the Palisades, Eaton and Hurst fires have wreaked havoc across the region, spreading rapidly with winds of up to 99 miles per hour. At the time of going to press, the fires were 0% contained. Forced evictions were ordered for more than 80,000 residents. California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency. When the fire gets out of control, the firefighters are completely overwhelmed.

Jamie Lee Curtis shared photojournalist Ethan Swope’s photo of the “terrifying situation” on Instagram on Jan. 8. The actress wrote that “her community and possibly my home are on fire.” My family is safe. Many of my friends will lose their homes.”

Maria Shriver posted a video of the destroyed Pacific Palisades taken by CBS News’ Jonathan Vigliotti. The journalist wrote: “Heartbreaking, devastating, unbelievable. Everything has disappeared. Our neighborhood, our restaurants. All our friends lost everything. We were evacuated but are safe. But the people lost everything.”

Dan Levy, whose father Eugene was photographed standing still during the Pacific Palisades evacuation, shared a photo and wrote that he was “heartbroken for my family, my friends and the people of LA affected by these catastrophic fires.”

Mark Hamill called it the “most horrific fire since 1993” as he evacuated his family from Malibu.

Steve Guttenberg, who lives in Pacific Palisades, said on CNN that the fire was “the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen.” During the evacuation, he helped clear cars left behind on the Pacific Coast Highway so firefighters could get through.

Jennifer Love Hewitt wrote: “I am at a loss for words. Just prayers and as much hope as possible for our home and our children as we watch everything burn. Thank you to all the first responders who fought so hard for all of us. Thank you to every friend who reached out and to every new person I tearfully hugged in the last 24 hours.”

Minnie Driver wrote that she “spent a long night watching my friends’ houses burn.”

Chet Hanks – son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, who have a home in Pacific Palisades – wrote that “the neighborhood I grew up in is burning to the ground.”

Mandy Moore told her fans that she was evacuated with her family, including her newborn baby and her pets. The actress, who is staying with friends, said Wednesday that she didn’t know if her home survived and that she was “destroyed by the destruction and loss” in the area.

Eric Braeden, star ofThe young and the restless, shared a video of fire “behind my house”! He called it “the worst ever in LA.”

Cary Elwes shared footage from his Malibu emergency exit and described the fires as “biblical.”

Sheryl Lee Ralph posted a video clip on Threads from what appears to be Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, where Abbott Elementary School Gunshots, with smoke overhead and flames in the distance. (The studio tours there were canceled on Wednesday.)

She also shared a video of herself driving through Hollywood with flames and smoke in the distance in front of her. “It’s absolute madness right now,” she said. “This place is on fire, darling.”

Rosie O’Donnell said she was safe in a hotel.

Jay Pharoah shared an aerial video that was reportedly taken from a plane overnight.

Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Sperry Teller live in Pacific Palisades. She posted photos of the devastation on her Instagram Stories and called on people fleeing to leave water for animals who are also fleeing.

Ben Affleck was photographed evacuating his Pacific Palisades home and walking to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s nearby home, which did not need to be evacuated.

Meanwhile, according to the Hollywood Reporter, the Palisades Fire burned down Palisades Charter High School, which is a popular film location. The school was, among other things, the setting for films Carrie, Crazy/beautiful, the 2003 remake Crazy Friday and the Teen Wolf TV series.

The Screen Actors Guild nominations were scheduled to be announced live on January 8, but were announced via press release “due to the wildfires and adverse wind conditions in Los Angeles.”

The premiere of Jennifer Lopez’s latest film, Unstoppablewas canceled on January 7 due to “safety concerns related to increased wind activity and fire outbreaks.”
