Spencer Pratt is asking his TikTok followers to help him raise money after he lost his home to the catastrophic wildfires that raged across the greater Los Angeles area.

In a video shared via TikTok on Friday, January 10, Pratt, 41, urged his followers to watch and like a previous video shared to his account that featured the song “What It Feels Like” by Aly & AJ could be heard.

“I get up to $1,100 from TikTok if it’s in the top ten most popular TikToks with that song, so it’s more like $200, but it can go up to $1,100,” he explained in the video. “So if you are bored, please watch the last video. It’s actually a great song and Aly and AJ are wearing Pratt Daddy crystals – my friend Amber goes to all their shows and gives them all crystals, so it’s kind of an authentic ad since they’re wearing my crystals. I want to get that $1,100 too.”

In a subsequent video, Pratt also asked his followers to add Ms Heidi Monday on Spotify and other streaming platforms.

However, Pratt’s request for support was met with some backlash on social media.

“Some demonic monster just wrote on my IG and tagged me: ‘Of course Spencer will milk his burned down house for every dollar it’s worth.’ Phew. Phew. That’s right. Let me find out every dollar I can,” Pratt said in a video addressing the backlash shared via TikTok on Friday.

“How come you don’t have brains? “Are you just the stupidest creatures?” he continued. “Of course I’m trying to get money to live with my family because our house and everything we owned burned down. And if I can do it on social media, which is the only way I’ve made money non-stop for years, by showing my journey from our house burning down and all of our possessions, don’t you think I’ll go? to continue to milk it for every dollar?”

Pratt concluded: “I would rather have my house and no social media, I want to tell you that. I’d rather have everything in my house and delete all those stupid apps. I would much prefer that. So yes, I will continue to “milk” our misery on social media.

He also advised fans on how not to help him and the 38-year-old Montag, which included watching The hillswhich both Pratt and Montag starred in in the 2000s.

“I would much rather you look at anything in the world, but The hills. Don’t give this show a single dollar and this narrator not a single brain cell that listens to her voice,” he said in a video shared on TikTok, referring to Lauren Conrad. “No, there are no leftovers. So basically I’d rather you watch the paint dry and tune in while you stare at a wall – that would help my life more. Don’t waste your energy watching The hills Thinking that helps our lives.”

Pratt and Montag have been married since 2008. The hills Alumni lost their home in the Pacific Palisades wildfires that first broke out on Tuesday, January 7th. When their house burned down, the couple had already evacuated with their three children: sons Gunner, 6, and Ryker, 13 months.

In a video Monday shared via TikTok on Thursday, January 9, the couple revealed the few items left of their home after the fire, all packed in a single plastic bag.

“The hummingbird pot — with some boiled down nectar,” Pratt says in the video, along with “a (rubber) snake from the backyard, a crystal from the backyard, (another) crystal from the backyard, Ryker’s shovel from the backyard and broken pieces.”

As wildfires continue to spread across the Los Angeles area, several celebrities are taking to social media to share how they’re being affected. “Evacuated and safe with children, dogs and cats. I pray and am grateful for the first responders,” Mandy Moore wrote in an Instagram Story statement on Wednesday, January 8. In a follow-up post she writes (…)

As the couple packed up their home to evacuate, they were clearly unable to take all of their belongings with them. In another social media video, Montag explained, “The craziest thing about packing for a fire is that your brain just goes crazy.”

She added: “It’s so overwhelming packing up a house. I mean, I only have two pairs of jeans and two shirts. I got so many more clothes for the kids. I’m like, ‘Why didn’t I grab more?’ Luckily I grabbed everything and that’s such a blessing and the main thing is that we’re safe.”

Despite their distress, Pratt gave fans an encouraging update and thanked them for their support after his wife Heidi Montag’s album “Superficial” hit the iTunes Store charts after he asked for help on social media.

“God. Bless. Y’all. Number 15 in the iTunes Store. That’s a fucking miracle,” Pratt said in an Instagram post on Saturday, January 11. “If we make it to number one, it’s official – Heidi is a pop superstar legend. “She’s going down in the history books. She’s obviously already in my history books.”

Pratt went on to say that Monday’s album, which climbed the iTunes Store charts, was “perhaps the best thing I could have ever dreamed of… other than I still have my house and all my possessions.”

“But don’t worry, we’re on our way to being rich and famous and I won’t forget you when I’m rich and famous,” he continued. “I will be the most grateful rich celebrity you ever supported in your lies. I love you all, thank you so much.”
