Spurs return home looking to play both Nuggets games back to back

The San Antonio Spurs (18-16) return to Frost Bank Arena to face a familiar opponent. The Denver Nuggets (19-14) come to Texas for the second straight game after the Spurs defeated them 113-110 on Friday night.

It will be the second round between superstar forwards Nikola Jokic and Victor Wembanyama after the two combined for 76 points, 36 rebounds and 13 assists and put on a show for the Denver crowd on Friday night.

The Spurs could get some help on Saturday as forward Jeremey Sochan was upgraded from a loss to a game-time decision, while the Nuggets are still missing forward Aaron Gordon.

The Spurs have moved to 8th place in the Western Conference and have won five of their last eight games, including two in a row. A win would move the Spurs into the top half of the conference and give more confidence to a young team looking to compete in the NBA.
