“Steelers make roster changes ahead of Ravens game.”

The Steelers made several roster moves today, including activating offensive tackle Calvin Anderson to the 53-man roster from the Reserve/Injured, Designated for Return list.

Additionally, the team signed receiver Scotty Miller to the practice squad and named him to the active/inactive roster for the game. Miller will return to the practice squad after the game.

The team also elevated receiver Jamal Agnew from the practice squad to the active/inactive squad for the game. Agnew will return to the practice squad after the game.

The team also released safety Ayo Oyelola from the practice squad.

Anderson, signed by the Steelers in September, was placed on the reserve/injured list on December 14. He returned to training earlier this week.

Anderson, who was originally signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent following the 2019 NFL Draft, has played in 46 games in his career, including 14. He spent time with the Patriots and New York Jets before joining the Denver Broncos signed to 53-man roster in 2019.

Anderson played in all 16 games for the Broncos in 2020, starting one at right tackle and one at left tackle. He appeared in 11 games in 2021, including three as a starter, all as a left winger. In 2022, he played in 14 games, including seven at left tackle for Denver, and allowed just two sacks with no holding calls.

Anderson signed with the New England Patriots as an unrestricted free agent prior to the 2023 season. He played five games in 2023, starting two, before being placed on the reserve/injured list, where he finished the season.

Miller, who was released from the 53-man roster on Thursday, signed a one-year contract with the team in the 2024 offseason.

He has played 13 games this season, including one as a starter. He has five receptions for 69 yards.

In six NFL seasons, he has played in 80 games, recording 90 receptions for 1,154 yards and six touchdowns.

Agnew, who was signed to the practice squad on Nov. 12, is in his eighth season in the NFL and has played in 77 games in his career. He has 77 career receptions for 746 yards, a 9.7-yard average and five touchdowns.

Agnew was originally drafted by the Detroit Lions in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He spent four seasons with the Lions, where he had 16 receptions for 105 yards.

He signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021, spending three seasons there and recording 61 receptions for 641 yards and five touchdowns.
