Steph Curry’s last injury layoff only lasted one game.

Curry will start Saturday against the Phoenix Suns at the Footprint Center after the superstar guard missed Wednesday’s home loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder because of bilateral knee soreness.

Curry has missed four of the Warriors’ 18 games so far this season, but in 14 contests he is averaging 22.4 points on 47.5 percent shooting from the field and 44.4 percent shooting from 3-point range.

Without Curry against the Thunder, the Warriors were able to overcome a massive deficit, but didn’t have the offensive firepower to climb the mound and get the win.

Andrew Wiggins is also in contention after being listed as questionable with a right ankle injury.

Jonathan Kuminga (illness) and Gary Payton II (right adductor strain) were upgraded from probable to available on the NBA’s PT injury report as of 4:30 p.m.

Suns guard Bradley Beal and center Jusuf Nurkic have been ruled out for Saturday’s game.

As Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area writes, Draymond Green will get the starting defensive assignment over former Warriors star Kevin Durant.

The Warriors enter Saturday’s game on a three-game losing streak, so they could use a classic Curry upset to end the skid.
