Steph Curry has the worst game of his career in ugly Warriors blowout

Chef Curry may have to find a new recipe after the Warriors star cooked a rotten egg during a Thursday night appearance against the Grizzlies.

Steph Curry scored just two points in 24 minutes on the court, which ultimately led to a 144-93 loss to Memphis.

Curry’s ugly attempt resulted in him missing all seven attempts from the field and scoring his only two points from the free throw line.

It was the first time in his career that Curry played at least 12 minutes and did not make a single field goal, and it was the lowest-scoring game in which he played 24 or more minutes.

The last time Curry scored two points or fewer was on March 8, 2018 against the Spurs.

In this game he played just over two minutes.

Curry started the night averaging 20 points and shot 45.2 percent from the field.

Curry’s tough night was made worse by the fact that the Warriors lost by more than 50 points and the loss to the Grizzlies was the fourth-worst loss in franchise history.

This brutal loss came after Golden State lost a game to the Celtics by 52 points last season.

Curry told reporters after the game that “the mood is a lot better” than after the last loss like this.

“I don’t like the word ‘panic,'” Curry said of the Warriors’ current state. “I like accepting where you are and fighting back and trying to change the dynamic of the season. Panic means, so to speak, that you have no answer. I think we have answers. Obviously there’s definitely a sense of urgency.”

Golden State has now lost three games in a row and has lost nine of its last 11 games overall.

At 14-12 this season, the Warriors are in 10th place in the Western Conference.
