Sting adds two intimate London shows to ‘3.0’ world tour

Sting has announced details of two intimate shows set to take place in London next year. Ticket details can be found below.

The performances announced today (December 2) are part of his extensive “3.0” world tour. The Police frontman has already announced a handful of outdoor events across the country next summer – including Latitude Festival and the Isle Of Wight Festival.

Now two shows have been confirmed at more intimate venues in the British capital. The first of these will take place on Friday October 24th when the singer-songwriter visits the O2 Forum in Kentish Town.

The second will take place two days later when he travels to the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on Sunday October 26th.

Tickets for both new shows go on sale this Friday (December 6th) at 10am and are available here. Pre-sale options are now available.

The “STING 3.0” world tour kicked off in Europe at the beginning of the year and was soon followed by a leg in North America.

The two new London shows, scheduled for next October, will follow six major outdoor shows over the summer. The UK shows begin on June 18th with a stop at Tetbury Forest Live and continue with shows at the Isle of Wight Festival, Liverpool’s On the Waterfront and Glasgow’s Summer Sessions on June 20th, 22nd and 25th.

The outdoor shows conclude with a performance at 27 – Cannock Forest Live on June 27th, Cardiff Depot Live on June 28th and a performance at Latitude Festival at the end of July.

Back in September, Sting made headlines with his “3.0” tour when he performed the rare track “I Burn For You” live for the first time in 34 years while in Ontario, Canada.

He also previously appeared with Philippe Petit when he recreated his legendary high wire stunt in the Twin Towers. At that moment, the 74-year-old French artist walked a tightrope as Sting sat down below and performed his tracks “Fragile” and “Field Of Gold,” accompanied by a live orchestra.
