After the unexpected rise in popularity of Suits on Netflix in 2023, NBCUniversal has announced a new one Spinoff series titled Suits: LA. The upcoming show aims to build on the franchise’s legacy while introducing a new storyline against the vibrant backdrop of Los Angeles.
Unlike the original series, which revolved around the busy legal world of New York City, Suits: LA will focus on Ted Black, a character played by Arrow star Stephen Amell. Ted is a former federal prosecutor from New York who moves to Los Angeles to start his own law firm. However, things don’t go as planned and Ted soon has to fight to prevent his company from collapsing.
Amell’s cast includes familiar faces like “The Walking Dead” actor Josh McDermitt, “Rebel” star Lex Scott Davis and “The Mentalist” alum Troy Winbush. Additional cast members include Brian Greenberg and Lex Scott Davis, all of whom will bring fresh energy to the Suits universe.
While the introduction of new characters has excited fans, the big question remains: Will there be original favorites? Harvey Specters (Gabriel Macht) and Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) return?
