Summer House's Paige DeSorbo opens up about what led to her breakup with Craig Conover

Paige DeSorbo And Craig Conover are facing a time of change.

The Garden house Star recently confirmed that she and the Southern charm star have separated after three years together. What led to their separation?

Paige, 32, noted that turning 30 was “very transformative” and explained that both she and Craig, 35, had grown and changed during their year-long romance.

“No one did anything, it wasn’t a bad thing,” she told co-host Hannah Berner during December 30th of their Giggly Squad Podcast. “I think we were both just very mature and said what we wanted and didn’t want. And I think being able to express how you feel and what you want for the future in real time is extremely powerful.”

All in all, Paige feels “so much love and respect for Craig” even after their breakup.

“I think he’s one of the best people I’ve met in my entire life,” she continued. “I will remain his biggest fan and want the best for him, and he will truly get the best because he is the best.”

“We’ve both given ourselves a little bit of time to deal with this on our own, privately, with our family and friends,” she noted, “and now I feel like it’s appropriate to be able to tell people.”

“He’s definitely the best friend I’ve ever had. I can truly say that,” Paige shared. “He was a great friend and he did everything right and he never made me feel insecure or anything like that. So it’s almost harder when no one has done anything to be angry about, and that’s hard.”

She later added: “I love him and I think he loves me. I think we’ll stay friends.”

Paige also noted that her split from her Bravo costar, who has yet to publicly comment on the matter, was “exactly the right decision,” adding that it was “a very sad thing.”

She also dismissed rumors that the separation announcement was closer to the premieres of their respective shows. (Southern charm is currently airing its 10th season Garden house returns for Season 9 in February.)

“No one can tell me what to do,” she explained. “The network has power, but they don’t have that much power… Rumors about us breaking up months ago – that’s not real either.”

As Paige also pointed out, her message comes after the two took some time to sort things out on their own.
