Tonight’s game between the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings was in prime time as two of the NFC’s best teams were involved in determining the playoff seeds. This will be a historic late afternoon clash between the two teams as it is the first time they have played each other and both teams have at least 11 wins.

The NFL’s decision to move kickoff from 12 noon Central Time to 3:25 a.m. allows for full national coverage on FOX as well as that network’s top broadcast team of Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady.

Then another game with massive playoff implications begins in prime time as the Washington Commanders host the Atlanta Falcons. Washington will know before kickoff whether it has a chance of snagging the Packers for the NFC’s No. 6 seed, as a Packers loss and a Commanders win would move Washington ahead of Green Bay. However, Atlanta is in a tight race for the lead of the NFC South, which they currently hold with a tiebreaker over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
