Swifties celebrate their favorite pop star at Sora

CLEVELAND – Fingers and toes were crossed that singer Taylor Swift would perform at the Browns vs. Chiefs game on Sunday.

Many fans prepared for the game at Sora, where a Taylor Swift-style brunch was held. Fans sipped drinks, made friendship bracelets and listened to a Swift cover band as they eagerly awaited news of their beloved star.

Meghan Taylor and her three friends made the game a weekend. Her friends flew across the country hoping to catch Swift in the stands.

“This is our version of the Eras tour,” she said. We didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars, so we thought, “Let’s spend thousands of dollars in Cleveland, stimulate the economy, and have a great weekend!”

Swift’s romance with Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce has developed an invisible connection between the NFL and the singer. This has given some fathers the opportunity to form a new bond with their daughters.

“I wish Travis Kelce played for the Browns,” dad Dan Bandy said. “Otherwise, it was fun to experience it even more with her.”

Fans had hoped Swift would perform at the game since her record-breaking Eras Tour ended last week. Since Kelce is from Cleveland, fans felt that Swift would definitely end up in one of the boxes at Huntington Field.

Ultimately, Swift didn’t show up to the game. Still, it probably won’t have any impact on her Cleveland fans’ affection for her.

“I feel like her music has carried me through college and high school and now as an adult and mother,” said fan Kayla Woitkowski. “It was so much fun that her writing stays with me personally as we grow up.”
