Sydney Sweeney has taken a stand against body shamers with a scathing Instagram video, combining screenshots of cruel online comments with footage of her intense training sessions for her upcoming role as boxing legend Christy Martin.

In the video shared on Friday, the Emmy-nominated actress began the clip by airing the toxic criticism of her body, compiling dozens of harsh comments that ranged from insulting to outright humiliation.

“She’s pregnant? Stung by a wasp’s nest? Dive into a pool full of donuts and chips?” One person wrote, while another added: “Without artifice (makeup, filters and photoshop) she’s really ugly!”

Someone else commented: “She’s exceptionally average, which is why she always makes sure her chest is the first thing into every room.”

“Did she play the live-action role of Miss Piggy?” another jabbed, and someone else called her the “Pillsbury Dough girl.”

“Great rack, total butterface,” read one.

The video also included clips of Sweeney’s workouts as she prepares to portray the former world boxing champion. Her fitness regime includes intensive training sessions designed to make her physically fit for the role.

People in the comments section voiced their support for Sweeney and told her to ignore the haters.
