In one picture, the star was seen lifting weights in a purple muscle shirt. Another saw Sweeney flipping a tire like she was superhuman. A third clip showed her boxing training, throwing punches, dropping to the floor and doing a series of push-ups.

Unfortunately, the public discourse surrounding Sweeney’s body is nothing new. At the beginning of this year her appearance was on Saturday Night Live saw the actress being used by the far right as evidence of “anti-wokeness.”

Fans rallied behind Sweeney in the comments, voicing their displeasure at the disgusting comments from bigots. “Ngl, why do people feel entitled to talk about someone’s body,” one person rightly observed.

“Insecure people project their own insecurities onto confident and strong women,” another person wrote. “So show them who’s boss.”

“I will never understand the hatred in people’s hearts when it comes to leaving comments like this,” wrote a third.
