Sydney Thomas says the trainer fell into her DMs after the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight

Sydney Thomas said she mentioned celebrities and an SEC football coach in her DMs after her viral appearance as ring girl for the late 2024 Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight.

During a recent appearance on the Like A Farmer Podcast, the 21-year-old model and University of Alabama student — who became an overnight sensation during the Paul Tyson rumble on Nov. 15 — revealed the coach’s message and that he it’s an Alabama fan.

“It was from another SEC football team coach and they just sent me a DM saying ‘Roll Tide,'” said Thomas, who asked about the “craziest DM you’ve ever gotten” since the Tyson-Paul fight became.

“I won’t say which coach it was, but you’re an Alabama fan — at least right now. We’ll let everyone else figure out who it was for themselves.”

Thomas did not provide any further details.

She also refused to reveal the celebrities who reached out to her.

“I don’t feel like exposing them,” Thomas said, laughing. “…I don’t need any negative publicity right now.”

Thomas added that her dream fight to work as a ring girl would be a Conor McGregor fight against Paul or his older brother Logan Paul.

The St. Louis, Missouri, native is currently taking online classes in Alabama so she can travel.

Thomas previously celebrated reaching one million followers on TikTok after she went viral as a ring girl in Paul’s unanimous decision victory over Tyson at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

This was Thomas’ second time as a ring girl following her debut with Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions at an event in Puerto Rico in October 2024.

Thomas previously said she was discovered by Paul’s company through social media.
