SZA and Kendrick Lamar have another hit climbing the music charts following the release of the singer’s highly anticipated album LANA. The new project was released on Friday (December 20), a year after she first announced it as a 2022 deluxe release SOS.

Lamar appears in the second track, “30 For 30.” In the song they sing together: “Some of you will wash/Some of you will just shit/Some of you will just talk/But none of you” It’s not really about shit…”

With the second verse, the Good boy, MAAd City Lyricist, raps, in part: “You fuck with n**gas that think they’re sweeter than you, oh/ Say you’re on your cycle but he’s on his period too, oh/ The tide’s turned so much.” , I thought it was foosball/ The tenderness of them that they mistake for some Wagyu, oh/ Go talk like Kendrick, like the boss/ Like Solana, I promise there’s more beetle wasp.”

The warm reception to the collaborative effort has fans online guessing that it’s time for SZA and Lamar to make things official and agree to a collaborative EP. Below are some reactions from Twitter.

The enthusiasm for their latest track has also increased the anticipation of the start of the “Grand National Tour” of the two TDE all stars. As previously reported by REVOLT, the duo announced the multi-city tour in early December following Lamar’s surprise EP release GNX. The North American stadium tour will see them hit hotspots like Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Detroit and Charolotte, to name a few.

The first show is scheduled for April 2025. But before fans see the duo on tour, they’ll first witness all the surprises the Compton host has in store as he headlines the Super Bowl LIX halftime show. The lights come on for the 15-minute show in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9th.
