ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – New Year’s Eve is a time of celebration, champagne and, of course, fireworks.

However, if you don’t feel like having to navigate Florida’s strict fireworks laws on your own, there are plenty of public shows in the Tampa Bay area that you can enjoy.

In the list below, 10 Tampa Bay offers several locations where residents can ring in 2025 with fireworks shows.

New Year’s Eve at St. Pete Pier

St. Petersburg residents can watch the fireworks from St. Pete Pier or anywhere along the downtown waterfront. According to the city, most fireworks are launched from Vinoy Park, north of the pier.

Residents 21 and older can celebrate with drink specials and live entertainment while watching the fireworks for the 2024 New Year’s Eve Luau from the roof of Pier Teaki. The festivities last from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with fireworks at midnight.

City officials said Clearwater Beach is one of the most popular destinations in Tampa Bay to watch fireworks on New Year’s Eve. Residents can set up a lawn chair and watch from anywhere on the beach, especially near the south end.

The fireworks will be set off at the north end of Sand Key, across from the Clearwater Beach bridge. Sand Key Park will be closed to the public. The fireworks are scheduled to go off at midnight and residents are asked to arrive early to find parking and a good spot on the beach.

Fireworks on Treasure Island

Those on Treasure Island can find a spot on the beach near Gulf Front Park south of the Treasure Island Causeway. The fireworks are scheduled to go off at midnight.

New Year’s Eve at Busch Gardens

Tampa residents can head to Busch Gardens for a day of rides and celebrations before the fireworks. Visitors can wander through the park’s Christmas Town before the show begins.

Jackson’s New Year’s Eve Celebration 2025

Jackson Bistro’s “ultra-exclusive” New Year’s Eve party includes free party favors, midnight prosecco toast and balloon drops.
